Branding & Logos} Coastal Wedding Celebrant Jennifer Jones

It’s always a pleasure getting to work with fellow vendors in the wedding industry! And of course a true privilege to design for other women running small businesses.

Jennifers’ new branding vibe was: Coastal, Welcoming, Romantic & Grounded and I think we smashed it. Using a combo of contemporary serif and modern sans serif fonts, I then developed a colour palette consisting of sandy tones and soft sunset hues. I hand drew a series of shell and love locket inspired illustrations to use both in the logo design and as supporting branding elements. The branding design was completed with the addition of hand painted, wave-inspired textures.

Welcoming yet modern, Jennifers main logo consists of a contemporary sans serif font with custom ligature features and a glint for the dot above the letter ‘i’.

Illustrations

I love the opportunity to create custom, hand drawn elements for all my branding clients. These shell, love locket and key illustrations are all hand drawn with pencil onto paper, scanned in and digitised. The wave inspired texture was painted by hand and also scanned in and digitised.
