Wedding Stationery} Amy & Joseph's Waiheke Island Wedding at Tantalus Estate
The lovley Amy and Joseph celebrated their marriage on the stunning Waiheke Island. Spoilt for choice with venues & vistas galore, this Australian based couple decided upon Tantalus Estate in the Onetangi Valley, the heart of the islands winemaking region.
Beginning with digital Engagement Party invitations and then digital Save the Dates from the Orla Semi Custom Suite, guests later received in the post a beautiful layered invitation suite. Each wedding invitation contained an arch top invitation in nude and an information card in stone, held together with a soft peach belly band featuring a specially chosen love quote; ‘I have found the one whom my soul loves’ from the Song of Solomin 3:4.
Stationery suites were posted to guests in classic white envelopes, with their addresses printed on the front and the couples return address on the back flap.
Fast forward to the big day and this couple chose a wedding signage package that included an A1 welcome sign and seating plan - both arch top to keep the look cohesive with the couples wedding invitation suite. Amy and Joseph chose to have their wedding welcome sign to predominantly feature their wedding monogram of their initials, and display their guest seating plan alphabetically.
Tables were adorned with arch top table numbers, and each place setting was a personalised dinner menu (so it doubles as a place name), featuring not only the evenings meal but a special thank you note from the newlyweds to their treasured guests. As a favour, this couples wedding monogram was made into a stamp to create branded cookies for guests to take home.
All stationery from the Orla Semi Custom Suite features a combination of bold modern typography and classic italic script - the perfect balance of modern and romantic. The interesting features of the main typeface work perfectly for creating wedding monograms with a difference, and the speciality background design of this suite is a series of curved, textured shapes gently over-lapping.
